Antai Venture Builder

Antai Ventures is a Barcelona-based venture studio founded in 2012 by Gerard Olivé and a co-founding team, established to co-build technology companies across e-commerce, marketplaces, and consumer digital services in Southern Europe and Latin America. Unlike a traditional venture capital fund, Antai operates as a company builder: it partners with co-founders to ideate, design, and launch new businesses from scratch, contributing capital, operational infrastructure, product development support, go-to-market strategy, and commercial networks in exchange for equity. Since 2012, Antai has co-founded more than 30 companies, which have collectively raised more than $1.5 billion in external funding and generated more than $3 billion in combined shareholder value. The studio's most significant success is Glovo, the Spanish on-demand delivery platform that expanded across more than 25 countries before being acquired by Delivery Hero. Wallapop, a second major co-creation, is Spain's largest second-hand marketplace with tens of millions of registered users. CornerJob was a mobile-first job marketplace that Antai co-founded and scaled across Europe. Antai has also launched Necta Ventures, a fund-of-funds vehicle in partnership with Banco Sabadell targeting a €120 million goal to back venture funds across Southern Europe and Latin America.
