About

Dell Technologies Capital

Dell Technologies Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of Dell Technologies, the global technology company, investing in early and growth-stage technology companies developing innovations in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, edge computing, and data management aligned with Dell's strategic priorities. The unit invests at Series A and Series B stages with initial checks from $2 million to $15 million in companies where Dell's global enterprise customer relationships, distribution partnerships, and technology integration capabilities can provide meaningful strategic acceleration alongside the capital. Portfolio companies include Cybereason, the endpoint detection and response and extended detection and response platform; and SentinelOne, the AI-powered endpoint security platform that completed a Nasdaq IPO in 2021 at one of the highest valuations in cybersecurity company history. Note: the original directory also lists Secureworks as a portfolio company, but Secureworks is a Dell Technologies subsidiary and publicly listed company (Nasdaq: SCWX) rather than an independent startup investment, and its inclusion appears to be a data error. Veriato, the employee monitoring and insider threat detection platform, is an additional portfolio company. Beyond its original investments, Dell Technologies Capital has backed dozens of enterprise technology companies.
