Felicis is a Menlo Park-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2006 by Aydin Senkut, a former Google product manager who made his first venture investments as an angel before establishing Felicis as an institutional fund, and which has become one of Silicon Valley's most consistently high-performing seed and Series A firms across multiple technology generations. The firm manages more than $2 billion in assets under management and has backed more than 450 companies across its fund vehicles. Senkut has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List of top technology investors multiple times. Shopify, the Canadian commerce platform now valued at over $100 billion, was backed by Felicis at its earliest stages. Credit Karma was acquired by Intuit for $7.1 billion in 2020. Fitbit was acquired by Google for $2.1 billion in 2021. Canva has grown to a valuation of approximately $49 billion. Notion is a portfolio company. Beyond its original investments in Shopify, Credit Karma, Fitbit, Canva, and Notion, the portfolio includes Twitch (acquired by Amazon), Gusto, Calendly, and dozens of additional category-defining technology companies.
