About

Felix Capital

Female Founders Fund is a New York-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm focused exclusively on investing in companies with at least one female founder, built on the thesis that founding teams that include women consistently produce better outcomes but are systematically underfunded. The fund was founded by Anu Duggal in 2014 as one of the first dedicated vehicles for investing in female-founded companies in the United States. The fund invests with initial checks from $250,000 to $1 million at pre-seed and seed stages, often serving as the first institutional capital a female-founded company receives, and maintains a tight-knit portfolio community where founders can support and advise each other. Portfolio companies include Billie, the women's shaving and personal care brand acquired by Edgewell Personal Care in 2021; Catch, the benefits and financial services platform for independent workers; Ellevest, the women-first investment and financial planning platform; and Maven Clinic, the digital women's and family health clinic. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional female-founded consumer, fintech, and healthcare technology companies.
