Fifth Wall is a Los Angeles-based venture capital firm founded in 2016 by Brendan F. Wallace and Brad Greiwe, the largest investment firm focused on technology for the global real estate industry and the pioneer of the PropTech investment category, investing in companies that are transforming the built environment through technology, data, and climate solutions. Note: the original directory categorizes Fifth Wall as a climate and energy investor, but the firm's primary and founding mandate is real estate technology (PropTech), with climate technology integrated as a component of this built-environment thesis. The firm manages approximately $3.2 billion in commitments and capital under management and is backed by a network of approximately 115 strategic limited partners, the world's leading real estate owner-operators including CBRE, Hilton, Hines, Marriott, Prologis, and Starwood Capital, across more than 20 countries. Portfolio companies include Opendoor, the iBuyer and digital real estate marketplace; Procore, the construction management software that completed a NYSE IPO in 2021; Blend, the digital mortgage platform; Hippo, the home insurance technology company; Bilt Rewards, the loyalty programme for renters; and ServiceTitan, the software platform for home services contractors.
