First Round Capital is a San Francisco-based seed venture capital firm founded in 2004 by Josh Kopelman, widely recognized as one of the most consistently successful seed investors in Silicon Valley across multiple technology generations, with a track record that includes some of the most significant technology exits of the past two decades. The firm invests exclusively at the pre-seed and seed stages with initial checks from $1 million to $3 million and publishes the First Round Review, one of the most widely-read founder education platforms in technology.
