Five Seasons Ventures

Five Seasons Ventures is a Paris-based seed and Series A venture capital firm founded in 2017 by Richard Seroussi and Laurent Asscher, focused exclusively on food technology and food system innovation companies across Europe and beyond, investing in founders who are transforming how food is produced, distributed, consumed, and valued. The firm is one of a small group of dedicated food technology venture investors in Europe and invests with initial checks from $500,000 to $3 million at seed and early Series A stages. Portfolio companies include La Belle Vie, the French online grocery delivery platform; Mimi Ferments, a German company producing artisan fermented food products; Perfeggt, the German food technology company developing plant-based egg alternatives; and Yumgo, a French company producing plant-based egg white replacements for use in food manufacturing. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional European food technology companies across alternative proteins, food delivery, and sustainable agriculture.
