ForgePoint Capital is a San Mateo, California-based venture capital firm dedicated exclusively to cybersecurity, investing at seed, Series A, and Series B stages in companies building the next generation of security products and platforms for enterprise and government customers. The firm manages more than $600 million in assets and has backed more than 30 cybersecurity companies with a team combining venture investing backgrounds with deep experience in cybersecurity operations, product development, and enterprise sales. ForgePoint invests with initial checks from $3 million to $15 million and takes an active board and portfolio support role. Portfolio companies include Abnormal Security, the AI-powered email security platform; Cofense, the phishing defense and human-layer security platform; EclecticIQ, the cyber threat intelligence platform; and Telos, the cybersecurity solutions provider for US government and enterprise customers. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional enterprise and government cybersecurity companies.
