Forward Partners

Forward Partners is a London-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm and venture builder focused on e-commerce, consumer marketplaces, and internet-enabled consumer businesses, providing both equity capital and operational support through an in-house team of product, engineering, and marketing professionals. The firm was founded by Nic Brisbourne and invests with initial checks from £250,000 to £1 million at pre-seed and seed stages. Forward Partners was acquired by Molten Ventures (formerly Draper Esprit) in November 2023 for £41.4 million. Portfolio companies include Lyst, the global fashion search platform; Appear Here, the short-term retail space marketplace; Patch, the UK plant and gardening marketplace; and Counting Up, the mobile banking and accounting platform for small businesses. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional UK e-commerce, marketplace, and consumer technology companies.
