About

G2 Venture Partners

G2 Venture Partners is a San Francisco-based venture and growth equity firm founded in 2016 by Ben Kortlang, Brook Porter, David Mount, and Daniel Oros, who spun out from Kleiner Perkins' Green Growth and Technology Fund where the team had built a fifteen-year track record investing in clean technology and sustainable industrial companies. The firm focuses on technology companies that are digitizing and decarbonizing traditional industries including energy, transportation, agriculture, construction, and logistics, investing at Series B and growth stages where companies have demonstrated commercial traction. G2 Venture Partners has raised two core funds: Fund I at $350 million and Fund II at $500 million, with a third fund targeting $750 million, bringing total AUM to approximately $1 billion.
