About

Intel Capital

Intel Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of Intel Corporation, one of the world's largest semiconductor companies, and is one of the most active and long-running corporate venture capital programmes in the technology industry, having been established in 1991 and invested more than $20 billion in over 1,700 companies across its history. The firm invests at Series A and Series B stages with initial checks from $3 million to $20 million in technology companies across cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data centre technology, autonomous vehicles, 5G, edge computing, and other sectors aligned with Intel's strategic priorities in semiconductor and computing architecture. Intel Capital brings to portfolio companies access to Intel's deep technical resources, processor roadmaps, ecosystem relationships with major technology companies, and commercial relationships with enterprise and government customers that can accelerate product development and market validation for portfolio companies building on or adjacent to Intel's technology stack. Portfolio companies include Claroty, the industrial and operational technology cybersecurity platform; Cofense, the phishing defence and human-layer security platform; Cylance, the AI-powered endpoint security company that was acquired by BlackBerry for $1.4 billion in 2019; and Inpixon, the indoor intelligence and positioning platform.
