About

Jeito Capital

Jerusalem Venture Partners, known as JVP, is a Jerusalem-based venture capital firm founded in 1993 by Erel Margalit, one of Israel's longest-running and most prominent venture investors with a three-decade track record of backing Israeli technology companies across cybersecurity, enterprise software, and deep technology. The firm has established a distinctive model of operating from Jerusalem rather than Tel Aviv, with a commitment to building the technology community in Jerusalem alongside generating financial returns. JVP invests from seed through Series B stages with initial checks from $3 million to $15 million and has backed more than 160 companies. Portfolio companies include CyberArk, the Israeli privileged access management and identity security platform that completed a Nasdaq IPO; Silicom, the Israeli network interface card company that is publicly listed on Nasdaq; Payoneer, the digital payments and financial services platform that completed a Nasdaq listing via SPAC in 2021; and Cybereason, the endpoint detection and response cybersecurity platform. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional Israeli cybersecurity, enterprise software, and deep technology companies.
