The firm invests with initial checks from $500,000 to $5 million and brings its founders' experience building and scaling Groupon to help portfolio companies scale their commercial operations. Portfolio companies include Bounteous, the digital experience and technology services company; Ditto, a technology company; Grubhub, the online food ordering and delivery marketplace acquired by Just Eat Takeaway for $7.3 billion in 2021; and Reverb, the online marketplace for musical instruments acquired by Etsy for $275 million in 2019. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional Chicago-based and Midwest consumer, enterprise, and marketplace technology companies.
