LocalGlobe is a London-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm founded by Robin Klein and Saul Klein, a father-and-son investment team whose combined careers span more than three decades of European technology investing. The firm invests with initial checks from $500,000 to $3 million at the very earliest stages of company formation, typically leading pre-seed and seed rounds in European technology companies before most institutional investors will engage. Portfolio companies include TransferWise, now known as Wise, the international money transfer platform that completed a London Stock Exchange direct listing in 2021 at a valuation of approximately $11 billion; Zoopla, the UK property search portal; Citymapper, the urban mobility and transit navigation application; and Improbable, the UK spatial computing and virtual worlds company. Beyond its original investments in TransferWise, Zoopla, Citymapper, and Improbable, the portfolio includes additional European technology companies.
