M12 (Microsoft)

M12, formerly known as Microsoft Ventures, is the corporate venture capital arm of Microsoft Corporation, investing in enterprise software, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, security, and other technology areas aligned with Microsoft's strategic priorities. The firm invests at Series A and Series B stages with initial checks from $2 million to $15 million in companies where Microsoft's global enterprise customer relationships, Azure cloud platform, and developer tools ecosystem can provide strategic value. Portfolio companies include Hazy, the synthetic data platform for privacy-preserving enterprise data sharing; Limeade, the employee wellbeing and engagement software platform; XPLOR, an education technology company; and Synack, the human-augmented AI security testing platform. Beyond its original investments in Hazy, Limeade, XPLOR, and Synack, the portfolio includes additional enterprise technology, AI, and security companies.
