Magic Fund

Magic Fund is a San Francisco-based seed venture capital fund focused on backing underrepresented and emerging founders across all technology sectors, investing with very early-stage checks from $25,000 to $250,000 to provide the first institutional or near-institutional conviction capital to founders who may face systemic barriers to accessing conventional venture capital. The fund operates with a mission to democratize access to venture capital and to identify exceptional founders in technology who are building important companies but have not yet had access to the networks and institutional backing that accelerate fundraising. The fund's portfolio company listed in the original directory includes Mono, the Nigerian API and open banking infrastructure platform; and Eze, a financial technology company. Magic Fund represents an emerging class of small-check, high-conviction seed vehicles that provide critical first institutional capital to underrepresented founders in technology.
