Menlo Ventures is a San Francisco-based venture capital firm founded in 1976, one of Silicon Valley's longest-running venture partnerships with a nearly five-decade track record of backing technology companies. The firm manages approximately $1.35 billion in assets under management and invests from seed through growth stages with initial checks from $3 million to $15 million in enterprise software, AI infrastructure, consumer technology, and fintech companies. Menlo Ventures made headlines in 2023 with its investment in Anthropic, the AI safety and large language model research company. Uber was a Menlo Ventures portfolio company. Roku completed a Nasdaq IPO in 2017. Siri was acquired by Apple in 2010.
