About

Monashees

Monashees is a São Paulo-based venture capital firm that is one of Brazil's oldest and most established institutional technology investors, having been founded in 2005 and building a twenty-year track record of backing the most significant Brazilian and Latin American technology companies from their earliest institutional stages. The firm invests from pre-seed through Series B stages with initial checks from $500,000 to $10 million across consumer internet, logistics, edtech, and fintech companies. 99, the Brazilian ride-hailing company acquired by Didi for approximately $1 billion in 2018, was a Monashees investment. Rappi, Gympass (now Wellhub), Loggi, and Loft are portfolio companies. Beyond its original investments in 99, Rappi, Gympass, Loggi, and Loft, the portfolio includes additional Brazilian and Latin American consumer, fintech, and logistics technology companies.
