Munich Re Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Munich Re, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies, focused on investing in cyber insurance, insurtech, and risk technology companies at Series A and Series B stages. The fund invests with initial checks from $2 million to $15 million in companies building the technology platforms and data analytics tools needed to underwrite, distribute, and manage new categories of insurance risk in the digital economy. Portfolio companies include At-Bay, the cyber insurance and security company; Coalition, the active cyber insurance company combining cyber insurance with security monitoring; Cowbell, the AI-powered cyber insurance platform for small and medium businesses; and Resilience, the cyber risk solutions company combining insurance with risk quantification. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional cyber insurance, insurtech, and risk technology companies.
