Octopus Ventures is a London-based seed through Series B venture capital firm, the investment arm of Octopus Group, investing in deeply ambitious companies across consumer internet, health technology, deep technology, and enterprise software in the UK and Europe. The firm invests with initial checks from $1 million to $10 million and takes an active board role in portfolio companies. Portfolio companies include Zoopla, the UK property search and real estate portal; Secret Escapes, the UK luxury travel deals and flash sales platform; Elvie, the UK women's health technology company; and Depop, the peer-to-peer fashion marketplace acquired by Etsy for $1.6 billion in 2021. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional UK and European consumer, health, and enterprise technology companies.
