Option3 is a New York-based Series A and Series B venture capital firm focused on cybersecurity technology, investing in early and growth-stage security companies building enterprise security solutions for critical infrastructure, government, and enterprise customers. The firm invests with initial checks from $500,000 to $3 million. Portfolio companies include Attila Security, the mobile security and encrypted communications company; IronNet, the collective cyber defence company co-founded by former NSA Director Keith Alexander; Perch Security, the threat intelligence and managed detection and response platform; and Sotero, the data encryption and privacy platform. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional enterprise and government cybersecurity companies.
