Partech Africa is the dedicated pan-African investment vehicle of Partech Partners, the Paris-based venture capital firm, focused on Series A investments in African technology companies across fintech, e-commerce, enterprise software, and logistics. The fund was launched in 2018 with backing from the International Finance Corporation, the European Investment Bank, and Mastercard Foundation. Partech Africa invests with initial checks from $1 million to $10 million and brings the broader Partech network to help portfolio companies access international capital and commercial opportunities. Portfolio companies include TradeDepot, the Nigerian B2B commerce platform; Yoco, the South African point-of-sale and small business financial services platform; Wave, the West African mobile money and financial services platform; and Wasoko, the pan-African B2B e-commerce platform. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional pan-African technology companies.
