Passion Capital is a London-based seed and early Series A venture capital firm founded in 2011 by Eileen Burbidge, Stefan Glaenzer, and Robert Dighero, one of the UK's most recognised and influential early-stage investment firms with a track record that includes some of the most significant UK fintech and technology companies. The firm invests with initial checks from $500,000 to $2 million at seed and Series A stages. GoCardless, the open banking payment network, is a major portfolio company. Monzo, the UK neobank, was backed by Passion Capital at an extremely early stage when it was still called Mondo. Onfido, the digital identity verification platform acquired by Entrust in 2024, was a Passion Capital investment. Lendable, the UK consumer lending platform, is a portfolio company. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional UK fintech, enterprise, and consumer technology companies.
