PayPal Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of PayPal Holdings, the global payments technology company, investing in financial technology companies and payment infrastructure businesses complementary to or strategic for PayPal's global payments ecosystem. The firm invests at Series A, Series B, and growth stages with initial checks from $3 million to $20 million in companies where PayPal's 400-million-plus consumer accounts and 35-million-plus merchant relationships can provide commercial partnerships and strategic value. Portfolio companies include Bolt, the checkout and payments infrastructure company; Melio, the B2B accounts payable and payments platform; Payoneer, the digital payments platform; and TrueLayer, the UK open banking and payments infrastructure company. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional fintech and payments companies.
