Platanus Ventures is a Santiago, Chile-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm focused on Chilean and Latin American technology founders at the very earliest stages of company formation, also operating an accelerator programme for early-stage Chilean technology companies. The firm invests with initial checks from $100,000 to $300,000. Portfolio companies include Fintual, the Chilean digital wealth management platform; Buk, the Chilean HR software and payroll platform that has grown into one of Latin America's most significant B2B SaaS companies; Houm, the Latin American proptech platform; and NotCo, the Chilean AI-powered alternative food technology company. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional Chilean and Latin American technology companies across fintech, enterprise software, and consumer categories.
