Propel Venture Partners is a San Francisco-based seed, Series A, and Series B venture capital firm focused exclusively on fintech, investing in companies building the next generation of financial services infrastructure, consumer financial products, and enterprise financial technology. The firm was previously affiliated with BBVA as its fintech investment arm and subsequently transitioned to an independent fund model. Propel invests with initial checks from $2 million to $10 million. Portfolio companies include Brex, the corporate card and financial stack for startups; Deserve, the credit card platform; Nova Credit, the international credit bureau enabling immigrants to use their foreign credit history in the US; and Ramp, the corporate card and spend management platform. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional fintech infrastructure, consumer financial services, and enterprise financial technology companies.
