Redpoint Ventures is a Menlo Park-based venture capital firm founded in 1999, one of Silicon Valley's most consistently high-performing early-stage venture capital partnerships. Note: Redpoint Ventures should not be confused with Redpoint Eventures (row 432), which is the separate Brazilian VC firm. Redpoint Ventures invests from seed through growth stages with initial checks from $5 million to $15 million. Stripe was a Redpoint investment. Snowflake, the cloud data platform, was backed by Redpoint at an early stage before completing the largest software IPO in history on the NYSE in 2020. HashiCorp was backed by Redpoint before completing a Nasdaq IPO and being acquired by IBM for $6.4 billion. Beyond its original investments in Stripe, Snowflake, and HashiCorp, the portfolio includes Netflix (early stage), Twilio, Lyft, and additional enterprise and consumer technology companies.
