Seedstars

Seedstars is a Geneva-based seed and early Series A venture capital firm and startup programme focused on technology companies in emerging markets across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The firm runs startup competitions and programme activities across more than 80 countries and invests with initial checks from $100,000 to $500,000. Portfolio companies include Farmcrowdy, the Nigerian digital agriculture company connecting smallholder farmers with sponsors; and QuickCheck, the Nigerian mobile lending platform. Beyond its original investments in Farmcrowdy and QuickCheck, the portfolio includes additional emerging market technology companies across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
