The firm invests with initial checks from $500,000 to $2 million and brings consumer brand expertise, retail distribution relationships, and digital marketing knowledge. Portfolio companies include Burt's Bees, the natural personal care and lip care brand; Hydrant, the rapid hydration and electrolyte drink mix brand; Kopari Beauty, the coconut-based personal care and beauty brand; and Schmidt's Naturals, the natural deodorant brand acquired by Unilever. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional natural and wellness consumer brands.
