Sofinnova Partners is a Paris-based life sciences venture capital firm founded in 1972, one of the oldest and most established dedicated life sciences venture capital firms in Europe, with more than fifty years of investing across biopharmaceutical, medical technology, and digital health companies. The firm manages more than €2.5 billion in assets and invests from seed through growth equity stages with initial checks from $5 million to $25 million. Sofinnova Partners is distinct from Sofinnova Investments, its US affiliate based in Menlo Park. Portfolio companies include Astellia, the telecom network performance analytics company; DBV Technologies, the clinical-stage company developing epicutaneous immunotherapy patches for food allergy treatment; Genfit, the French biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for liver diseases; and Inventiva, the French biopharmaceutical company.
