SoftBank Latin America Fund is a São Paulo-based growth equity fund and dedicated vehicle of SoftBank Group, launched in 2019 with $5 billion in committed capital and focused exclusively on Series B through late-stage investments in Latin American technology companies across consumer internet, fintech, e-commerce, and enterprise software. The fund invests with initial checks from $50 million to $200 million, making it the largest single check source available to Latin American technology companies at growth stages. Portfolio companies include Rappi, the Colombian on-demand delivery platform; Kavak, the Mexican online used car marketplace; Gympass (now Wellhub), the corporate wellness platform; Creditas, the Brazilian fintech; and Clip, the Mexican payments processing company. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes OLX, QuintoAndar, Hash, and additional Latin American technology companies.
