SR One is a Philadelphia-based independent life sciences venture capital firm founded in 1985 as the corporate venture arm of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and subsequently spun out as a fully independent firm in 2020. The firm manages more than $1 billion in assets and invests from seed through Series B stages with initial checks from $5 million to $25 million.
