TLCom Capital is a Nairobi-based Series A and growth equity venture capital firm focused on technology companies across Sub-Saharan Africa, investing in founders building scalable digital businesses across agriculture, logistics, edtech, and enterprise software with initial checks from $1 million to $10 million. The firm manages the TIDE Africa Fund and was founded by Maurizio Caio. Portfolio companies include Twiga Foods, the Kenyan B2B agri-supply chain platform connecting smallholder farmers with urban food retailers; and uLesson, the Nigerian and pan-African edtech platform. Beyond its original investments in Twiga Foods and uLesson, the portfolio includes additional Sub-Saharan African technology companies.
