Truist Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Truist Financial, the US bank formed through the 2019 merger of BB&T Corporation and SunTrust Banks, investing in fintech and financial technology companies aligned with Truist's strategic priorities. The firm invests at Series A, Series B, and growth stages with initial checks from $2 million to $10 million. Portfolio companies include DoubleVerify, the digital media measurement and brand safety platform that completed a Nasdaq IPO in 2021; Finicity, the open banking and financial data aggregation platform acquired by Mastercard for $825 million in 2020; Paysign, the prepaid card and payment processing company; and Payveris, the digital money movement platform for financial institutions. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional fintech and payments technology companies.
