Two Sigma Ventures is a New York-based seed, Series A, and Series B venture capital firm affiliated with Two Sigma Investments, the New York-based quantitative hedge fund, applying data science and engineering culture to early-stage technology investing across artificial intelligence, enterprise software, data infrastructure, and financial technology. The firm invests with initial checks from $3 million to $15 million. Portfolio companies include Kensho Technologies, the AI-powered analytics platform for financial services acquired by S&P Global for $550 million in 2018; Mosaic, the strategic finance and business intelligence platform; Osmo, the AI company that has built a digital representation of the sense of smell; and Watershed, the enterprise climate and carbon accounting platform. Beyond its original investments, the portfolio includes additional AI, data infrastructure, and enterprise technology companies.
